Where have all the Progressives gone?

Have the “progressives” sold out on representing the Peace Movement? Are you all simply expecting that the Peace Movement will automatically Vote for you?

On Saturday March 18 there was a Peace Rally at the White House. Peace in Ukraine! Choose Diplomacy not war! Negotiations not escalation!

BUT did the Democrat mainstream media cover it? Heck No. Did the congressional Democrat Progressives Show Up? No.

Does the Peace Movement and all Americans 'who want Peace not war' have to Vote for Trump and the Freedom Caucus? – who seem to be the only political group that really wants Peace in Ukraine and to Stop the Washington warhawk neocons in their march towards an all-out war with Russia and starting WWIII ?

Being pro-Peace
is NOT being pro-Putin

Must those of us who are Pro-Peace turn to the Republican Freedom caucus? Must we turn to Trump for global peace? Are there ANY real Leaders in the Progressive Caucus?

What a shame that the progressives have abandoned the antiwar peace movement which demands an immediate end to the US proxy war against Russia, and what a shame that some progressives have supported an increase in the already bloated Defense Budget – rather than support a substantial reduction of the Military Complex, so that America can solve its own problems before intervening in other global regions and arrogantly advising other nations (Ukraine) into war and prolonging war.

Right Now the only sensible US peace proposals are coming from Trump and the Freedom Caucus, while the progressive liberals seem to have joined up with Biden's neocon war-makers. Though it is commendable that the democrat progressives stepped up to support the Freedom Caucus' attempt to renew the War Powers Resolution regarding Syria; at least that was a step in the right direction against the war establishment.

Yet Right Now the most prominent US advocate for Peace is Donald Trump! (while the liberal progressives are standing around the Biden campfire choir of prolonging the war and killing).
→ Donald Trump released a video on March 16 in which he advocated for ending the “entire globalist neocon establishment,” saying “Every day this proxy battle in Ukraine continues, we risk global war. We must be absolutely clear that our objective is to immediately have a total cessation of hostilities. All shooting has to stop. This is the central issue. We need peace without delay.”

So as of now, Donald Trump is the Peace Candidate and the Dems and liberal progressives are on the side of escalating war (rather than immediate ceasefire and peace talks). Go figure. Maybe Trump will also become the leading climate-action advocate as well? Maybe he's the only one willing to stand up to our corporate-owned government.

Have the Democrat “progressives” simply become neo-conservatives and promoters of the current political Establishment?
By Supporting the Biden & Republican neocon agenda to Keep Funding the Ukraine War – providing evermore weapons and giving Billions to prop up the far-right nationalist Ukrainian government – you are Prolonging the War and the Killing.

Most military analysts have been admitting that Ukraine cannot possibly attain their original goals by militarily defeating the Russian army – unless the US and Nato go all-in with all weapons and troops to fight the Russians (Which many warhawk Republicans are actually wanting). DO the Progressives also want us to be in a larger war with Russia?? – well that's where we are heading under the Biden Team.

Just back in November the US Top Military General, Mark Milley, publicly spoke out that the war in Ukraine will never be won militarily and “at the end of the day this war will end with a political solution.” He also stated with emphasis, “When there’s an opportunity to negotiate, when peace can be achieved, seize the moment!” Unfortunately though, his military expertise and advice was over-ruled by Biden's delusional neocon advisors – who have continuously rejected all peace proposals including the reasonable proposals set forth in 2022 by Putin as conditions needed to avoid Russian military action. According to the NYTimes, 11/10/22, “A disagreement has emerged at the highest levels of the United States government over whether to press Ukraine to seek a diplomatic end to its war with Russia, with America’s top general urging negotiations while other advisers to President Biden argue that it is too soon.”

And so the Biden advisors have kept on telling Ukraine to fight on, (our weapons and your blood), rather than negotiate a peace deal, as more and more Ukrainians are killed and more mothers weep. And all the while, the Democrat and Republican Congress keeps on cheering the Ukraine war. For example, Senator Mark Warner (D) supports more and more funding for the Ukraine war – because "chewing up" the Russian army has always been a central US objective, and... "We're having the Ukrainians do that right now, in a sense, for us." So however many lives are lost in the fighting is not important, as long as the war chews up more of the Russian army! For Warner and other pro-military congress members, peaceful relations with Russia is never an option because their focused objective is to weaken Russia in whatever way possible. This is right in step with the Republican neocon motto of “Fight On Ukraine... our weapons and your blood.” And as Ukraine gathers up 14-16 yrs boys off the streets to go into battle. A struggle for “democracy” and human rights?

Are the progressives part of the Biden neocon group??
Or will the progressive liberals have the Courage to Stand Up against the neocon Biden and the Washington Establishment?

– Will you all simply rubber-stamp Biden in 2024, OR.. can you form your own progressive proposals? And your own leadership, rather than just be a follower of the establishment.

America Needs a New Kind of Foreign Policy – not the neoconservative so-called diplomacy, with their geopolitical aim of US global dominance and their unwillingness to globally work together as one world with global peace and economic cooperation.

We Need a Peacebuilding Diplomacy,
not a “diplomacy” of refusing peace talks,
not a “diplomacy” of No-dialogue.

Stop supporting War.
Start supporting Peace-building.

We Need a new Foreign Policy
of Global Peace-building,
not Global War-making.

END the War Now !
Stop the Funds and Weapons.
Make a Peace Agreement with Russia.

Spend Our Public Money on Real Needs,
Not on these neocon geopolitical wars.

Make Peace not war.

Anyone and any political group is welcome to join in to be a peace advocate, so let us come together as a political coalition for Ending the War in Ukraine – all agreeing that we must end the war against Russia and the bloodbath in Ukraine, and support Ukraine in negotiating a Peaceful Settlement. Ukraine's blood and our weapons will Not defeat Russia in this war. There will have to be large compromises, but establishing peace is the right way forward instead of prolonging the fighting and the killing. A compromising peace settlement is the only way to proceed, unless we choose to make this regional conflict into a destructive world war.

Therefore, the US must Stop Funding the War, and instead work diplomatically to establish a long-term Peace Agreement with Russia. Then, America can begin spending money on improving people's lives and solving the environmental and climate problems – rather than spending most of our Budget on military wars.
