These leaked documents
(about the war in Ukraine)
Show the lies given to us
by our government
and their media-outlets.
A question now is Why did they lie.
The bigger question is
Do We want a government
that routinely lies to us
or tells the media to lie for them?
Hear the Secretary of Defense Lie to Congress
The documents reveal that Ukraine has been losing miserably and have no probable chance to regain their lost territory.
One of the documents reveal that the Biden government and the government-fed media news have been consistently lying about Ukrainian losses compared to Russian losses. The government and mainstream media have been consistently reporting that Ukraine is winning, while Russia is losing a huge amount of tanks and soldiers in battle and is suffering 4-7 times as many casualties as Ukraine.
Yet the documents reveal that all this has been a vast Lie, because the very opposite is true –– Ukrainian deaths and causalities are at least 4 times that of Russia, and their losses of weaponry has been extreme.
This shows that Ukraine is getting slaughtered on the battlefield and cannot possible regain its lost territory. Their deaths and casualties are enormous (well over 200,000), and their vast losses of military equipment, weapons and ammunition in just one year has been well beyond what US and Nato leaders ever expected (10 times more than was expected) – according Nato's top general. (businessinsider.com/ukraine-war-scale-out-of-proportion-with-nato-planning)
According to CNN, the leaked Pentagon documents “offer a pessimistic US viewpoint about the state of the war in Ukraine.”
And as stated in the Washington Post, the leaked documents reveal a stark contrast from “the Biden administration’s public statements about the vitality of Ukraine’s military,” and this knowledge of Ukraine's inability to achieve military success gives support to those who call for the US and Nato “to push for a negotiated settlement to the conflict.” “The prospect of pouring billions of dollars into a military stalemate with only incremental gains in one direction or another could weaken the resolve of Kyiv’s backers in Europe and in the US, possibly sharpening calls for negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow.”
SO, despite our government knowing that their 'proxy war' against Russia has been failing miserably and that Ukraine has been getting crushed on the battlefield, we the public have been deliberately misled by Biden's pro-war advisors and their pro-war Media Pundits, telling us that the Ukrainian army is chewing up the failing Russian army, and how Ukraine will predictably win anytime soon, (as long as America and Nato keep providing more $$Money and Weapons). While all along, this optimistic narrative has been a great Lie – intended to maintain public support for prolonging the war, rather than sit down with Russia and Ukraine and make a Peace Settlement.... Now.
Over the past year, this war has been a great failure and disaster for Ukraine, and their chances of winning are zero to none. But does the public ever hear this? (or even anything close to this?). No, because the mainstream corporate-owned media news has been feeding the public with lies and deceptive slogans as given to them by the Biden administration's media-spin team – intended to maintain an upbeat optimistic narrative about the war, so as to maintain public support for prolonging the war 'as along as possible'. It seems to be that the Biden foreign policy makers believe that prolonging the war, by encouraging Ukraine with evermore weapons and $$Money, is Good for US Interests and is helpful in furthering their US policy goal of weakening Russia.
Thus, even though the Biden administration has known for many many months that the Ukrainian army is getting chewed up by Russian forces and that they have almost no chance of winning; our government has continually lied about the facts and have continually insisted that Ukraine should NOT make a peace deal with Russia. The Biden spokespersons have persisted in presenting to the public an upbeat positive view of Ukraine winning the war – thus justifying their policy of prolonging the war, rather than settle for a peace agreement.
Just recently in the past month, Biden's national security spokesperson, John Kirby, publicly stated that Ukraine “should Not” agree to a ceasefire nor begin peace negotiations, but instead they're urged to keep on fighting in order to gain-back their lost territory.
For months, the Biden administration has rationalized its rejection of talks with Russia by claiming that “the best way to hasten prospects for real diplomacy is to keep tilting the battlefield in Ukraine’s favor,” as stated in February by Secretary of State Blinken. All along during this war, Blinken has “vehemently rejected any attempts to cast doubt on Ukraine’s capacity to win on the battlefield.”
Obviously, the administration believe that Americans and Europeans would not continue to support prolonging the war with more weapons and more $Billions, if they believed that Ukraine will lose anyways, sooner or later. People don't want to waste taxpayer money and national defense weapons on a losing scenario – so the government has continued to Lie about the Ukraine war.
It is clear then that these documented revelations about what is really going on in the war, (rather than the US and EU deceptive propaganda) is good reason for the American public and Congress to Call for an End to the war by urging a ceasefire and peaceful negotiation; such as was presented earlier this year in the congressional proposed Ukraine Fatigue Resolution, which stated “the United States must end its military and financial aid to Ukraine” and urged “all combatants to reach a peace agreement.” The vast majority of congress, though, rejected this resolution calling for a peace deal, and instead voted to prolong the war with more weapons and more $$Billions to Ukraine - (much of that money going to Ukrainian government officials).
The Secretary of Defense has been LYING to Congress →
Before the documents were known to be leaked (but AFTER the documents were presented at Defense Dept meetings), Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin was testifying to the Congress about the war, and HERE is what was said (in a sworn testimony) to Senator Wicker of the Senate Armed Services Committee in a review of Biden's Budget.
Senator Wicker: “With regard to your optimism about Ukraine having the upper hand – that is what you told me yesterday?”
Lloyd Austin: “It is, and Ukraine has inflicted significant casualties on the Russians and they have depleted their inventory of armored vehicles in a way that no one would have ever imagined, and so now we see Russia reaching for T-54s and T-55 tanks because of the level of damage the Ukrainians have inflicted on them.”
Senator Wicker: “And reaching for those tanks demonstrates 'what' to you, sir?”
Lloyd Austin: “It demonstrates their capability at winning.”
In another interchange under oath, Secretary of State Austin said, “We’ll stay focused on continuing to generate security assistance capability, so that they can continue to be successful.”
What did Austin say here?
…“so that they can continue to be successful.” This implies that Ukraine is in fact being successful.
But are these True statements (by the Secretary of Defense)?
OR are these Lies?
The leaked documents (from the Defense Dept) – which contain the Defense Dept's ongoing assessments of the Ukraine war (at the time of Austin's statements) – clearly reveal that Austin is lying to the Congress and to the American public. For the leaked documents clearly show that the Defense Dept had already known that Ukraine has been losing miserably – while all during this time the State Department has been feeding most of mainstream media with Blatant Lies about how well Ukraine is doing. For example, one of the leaked documents state that “Ukrainian units are burning through historic levels of artillery ammunition” ...and “newly mobilized troops arriving on the front lines are poorly trained.”
So we now know, without any doubt, that Austin's statements have been intentionally deceptive. For at the time of these statements, the leaked documents reveal that the Defense Dept clearly knew that Ukraine has been getting crushed on the battlefield and their weapons and ammo (which we gave to them) have been depleting much more rapidly than ever expected. So the actual knowledge of the Defense Dept shows a Very Dismal view of Ukraine's prospects in this war, and Lloyd Austin must have known this at the time of lying to Congress. Of course though, we cannot simply blame Austin for lying under oath; because his statements were mostly read from his notes prepared by the Biden Team (or shall we say the Biden Idiots). In other words, Austin is just a mouthpiece for a much larger agenda created from higher up and associated with a particular set of aims, interests, and ideology. Austin is not the leader here; he's just a presenter.
Let's be very clear here and realize that the information and assessments in these leaked documents come from daily briefings over time and are not simply new or surprising information for those who read these everyday. In other words, this was not new surprising information at that time; but rather, it was a snapshot from a continuum pattern going on. So this general fact of Ukraine losing badly on the battlefield must have been going on for many months before these early March documents.
Yet even more significant is that these documents show that the Biden administration has been financially and militarily fueling the war between Ukraine and Russia, and informing the media news of how well it's all been going; –– despite our leaders knowing that America's financial and military assistance to Ukraine was not and would not make any real difference in the war and would not really help Ukraine win.
And all the while, with these factual assessments in their hands, they have continuously been opposed to any ceasefire proposals, such as from Turkey and China. As for example Blinken, in his passionate rejection of China's call for a ceasefire, said in March that a ceasefire is “a very cynical trap that we have to be very, very careful of.” Why? He never explained. Yet many military and diplomatic experts do not share the administration's policy of no ceasefire, no talks, and no peace, as many of these diplomats believe that the Biden State Department “diplomats” have no interest in diplomacy. Instead, their primary objective has been to use Ukraine to “weaken” Russia.
The Biden foreign policy team Needs to step down (or be fired!) – because of their continuous lies, deceptions and failures. And the US needs to change course – by Calling for a Ceasefire and Negotiated End to the war, including negotiating a Long-term Peace-Security Agreement between US-Nato and Russia.
These documented revelations about what is really going on in the war, (rather than the US and EU deceptive propaganda) is good reason for the American public and Congress to Call for an End to the war by urging a ceasefire and peaceful negotiation; such as was presented earlier this year in the congressional proposed Ukraine Fatigue Resolution, which stated “the United States must end its military and financial aid to Ukraine” and urged “all combatants to reach a peace agreement.” The vast majority of congress, though, rejected this resolution calling for a peace deal, and instead voted to prolong the war with more weapons and more $$Billions to Ukraine - (much of that money going to Ukrainian government officials).
Now that these documents reveal the false narratives (the lies) that the Biden government has been propagating about the war, which have been their justification for rejecting all peace negotiations, the American and European citizens should demand that our governments explain WHY they are continuing to send More Money and Weapons to Ukraine – rather than seeking a peaceful settlement NOW. And the US and Nato ought to explain Why they rejected the reasonable peace proposals mediated by Turkey back last year in April 2022 – because since that time Ukraine has continually lost ground and have lost over 100,000 soldiers. Moreover, these rejected peace proposals of April last year were nearly the same as was proposed just before and just after the invasion (ie, peace talks in Belarus in Feb 2022) – meaning that this war never really needed to happen – and the result of Ukraine being advised to reject those peace proposals has ended up being disastrous for Ukraine and their people.
Additional Deceptions revealed by the documents –
Also, the documents mention that the US and UK have “special forces” in Ukraine to help train and advise Ukraine's military. The documents also reveal that Ukraine would probably have 12 combat brigades ready for a possible spring counteroffensive, and that 9 of these 12 brigades have been trained and equipped by the US.
→ Well then, if most of the Ukraine brigades are trained and equipped by the US and if the US has special forces in Ukraine ... then is it not true that this is a war between the US and Russia?
Also, by the way, no member of Congress was told about how we have special forces in Ukraine, or um advisors, which begs the question of being deceptive to Congress. There was time, not too long ago, when Congress had to approve of being at war.
→ As required by the Constitution and Section 8(c) of the War Powers Resolution, the President must get explicit and official Congressional Authorization -- before sending or maintaining ANY U.S. military personnel, special forces, advisers or trainers in Ukraine during a time of war.
In light of these leaked revelations about “US troops in Ukraine” (which has been illegally kept secret from the Congress and the public), Congressman Matt Gaetz has introduced a 'Privileged Resolution of Inquiry' → which would force the White House to give copies of all documents outlining plans to assist Ukraine militarily, and to notify the House of the exact number of U.S. military personnel including special operators inside Ukraine.... (as required by the Constitution). Congressman Gaetz commented that “The Biden Administration and other allied countries have been misleading the world on the state of the war in Ukraine. There must be total transparency from this administration to the American people when they are gambling war with a nuclear adversary by having special forces operating in Ukraine.”
– Also Read... Just how many US troops and spies do we have in Ukraine?
From the above article... “American history is rife with too many examples of presidents secretly employing U.S. troops without the consent or knowledge of our people. It almost always goes sideways when presidents go covert with our troops.”
We already know that the CIA has had a strong presence in Ukraine, engaging with a network to provide critical weapons and military intelligence to Ukraine. And back in 2021, 160 soldiers from the Florida National Guard’s 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, known as Task Force Gator, were involved in training the Ukrainian military.
And according to a New York Times article, “even as the Biden administration has declared it will not deploy American troops to Ukraine, some CIA personnel have continued to operate in the country secretly, mostly in the capital, Kyiv, directing much of the massive amounts of intelligence the U.S. is sharing with Ukrainian forces.”
The leaked documents also show that the US secretly listens to private conversations in the executive offices of the United Nations Chief, as well as spying on conversations from the leaders of Israel and South Korea. Some Americans might applaud this secretive behavior, though other Americans might be ethically embarrassed. The UN conversation mentioned in the documents is regarding a 'Black Sea grain export deal' which the UN brokered with Ukraine and Russia, to make the Black Sea safe for shipments of grain to starving people in Africa. But as the documents show, the US leaders were upset about this because they believed that feeding starving people is not as important as hurting the Russian economy.
In summary, this government is distrustworthy.
The People Deserve Better.
The People Deserve a truth-telling government.
Not a government that consistently lies to us.
What Next?
The documents show there is very little probability that Ukraine can militarily regain its lost territory. Therefore, Ukraine's smartest next step is to realistically accept its loses and negotiate for a peaceful settlement – sooner than later – because the longer this war goes on, the more people will be killed, and for no positive reason... (for no gain at all).
Brazilian President Lula da Silva recently said, “The United States needs to stop encouraging war and start talking about peace... and the European Union needs to start talking about peace.” He said, “It is necessary to constitute a group of countries willing to find a way to make peace.” Lula also criticized Western sanctions for harming the global economy. (cnn:2023/04/15/world/brazil-president-ukraine-war)
European leaders also see the writing on the wall and are scrambling to work out a way to end the war before Ukraine is destroyed anymore. The Wall Street Journal reported on February 24 that French and German leaders, Macron and Scholz, told Zelensky that right now “he needs to consider peace talks." However, they also assured him that, after the war ends with a peace settlement (that would realistically involve lost Ukrainian territory), Nato would provide more advanced weapons to Ukraine – so that later on Ukraine might take back those lost territories.
(Wall Street Journal: /European-members-float-defense-pact-with-ukraine)
But the large problem with this advice is that such a plan would result in a dis-incentive for Russia to negotiate a peace agreement, knowing that Nato [later on] will be increasing its weapons to Ukraine! — Because... given the present situation of Ukraine being considerably weaker than Russia, a major setback for a possible peace settlement now is that Russia might be more inclined to continue the fighting until they actually demolish the Ukrainian military and force a political regime change in Ukraine – rather than later on be forced to deal with a Ukrainian military that by next year or in future years could be more heavily armed with advanced Nato weapons which might then be used to attack Russian territory. That is, from Russia's perspective, a future Ukraine full of more US and Nato weapons would be a future existential threat to Russia.
Therefore, Russia might seek to put an end to this possible future threat, by defeating and demilitarizing Ukraine now that it is weak, rather than later on have to face a strengthened Ukrainian military.
Corruption & Thievery in Ukraine —
$400 Million in Cash pocketed
by the Ukrainian president & commanders
CIA insiders have informed the Pulitzer prize winning journalist, Seymour Hersh, that →
“The Ukrainian president and many in his entourage have been skimming untold millions from the American dollars earmarked for diesel fuel payments. One estimate by analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency put the embezzled funds at $400 million last year, at least; another expert compared the level of corruption in Kiev as approaching that of the Afghan war. Many government ministries in Kiev have been literally “competing,” I was told, to set up front companies for export contracts for weapons and ammunition with private arms dealers around the world, all of which provide kickbacks. The issue of corruption was directly raised with Zelensky in a meeting last January in Kiev with CIA Director William Burns. His message to the Ukrainian president, I was told by an intelligence official with direct knowledge of the meeting, was out of a 1950s mob movie. The senior generals and government officials in Kiev were angry at what they saw as Zelensky’s greed, so Burns told the Ukrainian president, because “he was taking a larger share of the skim money than was going to the generals.””
